I've been skating since i was six years old. My first coach was Jaclyn, and i had her until 5th grade, then i needed a change so i chanced ice rinks and coaches. I now have Clara Hogland, James Reemy (Didn't spell last name right), Kathy Carbone, and Yuri. They are all amazing coaches, and I'm lucky to have them. Yuri is mainly my jump coach, and he teaches me these different techniques that help. James is a polisher coach, and makes all my moves graceful, and makes sure I'm doing everything right. Clara, is just the nicest coach you could ever have, and is my main coach. What Clara does is she tells me what to do with all my other coaches, and makes my routines. Kathy isn't really one of my coaches, and then again she is. Kathy is a ballet teacher and help me with the choreography in my skating. she, also is really nice.
the other type of skating i do is synchronized skating, which is with other people and we make figures on the ice. my coach for THAT is Karen Weismer, and Sara Lovejoy. they are funny, and love to make everything exciting! they brought me to Providence, Rhode Island, and Nashville, Tennessee. in Tennessee, we are 1st in the pacific coast, and 3rd in the mid-west! In Rhode Island, we are 5th in the NATION! Our theme for that year was German Yodeling! it was SOOOOO much fun to choreograph! For this year (2008-09), the theme that we are doing is 'under the sea', and so far, were doing AMAZING! we have about a minute done with the program, and we started not even a month ago. My coach, Karen said that this year should be the better than last year.
